Malaysian state-run oil company Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) is keen on taking a role in Saudi Arabia's Jizan oil refinery project, the New Straits Times reported Friday, citing Petronas chief executive officer Mohd Hassan Marican.
"We have been approached and we are interested in the project," Hassan was
quoted as saying. He did not elaborate.
The Jizan refinery forms part of the Jizan Economic City, to be developed by
Malaysian construction group MMC Corp Bhd and Saudi Binladin Group.
