Croatian Panel Recommends Island of Krk for LNG Terminal

The Croatian government has announced something that will please all those who placed their bets on Omisalj as the location for the construction of an LNG [liquefied natural gas] terminal. The commission for the choice of a location has recommended to the government's working group the DINA location on the island of Krk as potentially the best.
A government session devoted to securing sufficient quantities of energy for the future was attended by Premier Ivo Sanader, President Stjepan Mesic and parliament Speaker Luka Bebic.
