Sonatrach has awarded Technip a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for an ethane extraction project in Arzew, Algeria.
The contract covers two units to extract ethane from the liquefied natural gas produced by the GL1Z and GL2Z trains at Arzew. Technip's operations and engineering center in Paris will execute the contract.
