Danish state-owned utility Dong Energy A/S said Thursday that Gazprom Export, part of Russian major Gazprom OAO, will double its gas deliveries for DONG to two billion cubic meters of gas annually.

No financial details were available.

Dong Energy will receive gas volumes at the Danish/German border via the Nord Stream pipeline.

In 2006, the partners signed an agreement for gas supply of one billion cubic meters from 2011, including an option for a substantial increase of the annual quantities.

Under the new contract, Gazprom will double the quantity of gas from 2012 for a period of 18 years.
