Acrylic acid combines with other monomers to form copolymers which are used to manufacture various plastics, coatings and adhesives. Acrylic acid is a clear, colorless chemical compound that is in liquid state in its pure form. Produced from propylene, Acrylic acid is extremely irritating to the skin and eyes.
