The Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine has allowed an unknown Cypriot company, Morgtawn Holdings Limited, to purchase more than 50 percent of the Kherson oil refinery's statutory capital, its press service reported last Friday.
According to the committee, Morgtawn Holdings is involved in investment activities.
The Kherson oil refinery stopped operations in July 2005 to prepare for reconstruction, which was scheduled to be completed by 2010. When the refinery was stopped, it had the level of processing of nearly 48 percent and its light product output was nearly 45 percent.
