Position Description:
- The Saudi Aramco Hawiyah Gas Plant (HGP) Department is looking for an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer who will work with the Maintenance Reliability Unit to take care of HGP rotating equipment and programs.
- The department has more than 1,000 pieces of rotating equipment made by different manufacturers which are distributed all over the plant.
- The plant is divided to six areas, Inlet Area, Sulfur Recovery Area, Sales Gas Area, Dehydration Dew Control Point Area, Gas Treatment Area and Utility Area.
- All of these machines need close follow-up to enhance their reliability and increase the mean time between failures. Also, they are linked to vibration and reliability programs that need to be analyzed periodically by the Rotating Equipment Engineer.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 years continuous experience with rotating equipment (steam turbine, compressors, pumps, etc.).
- Good background with Industrial Standards.
- Experience in rotating equipment pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Oral/written English communication and presentation skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides technical guidance for reliability and maintenance of rotating equipment by evaluating data history.
- Provides equipment failure analysis for the rotating equipment and solutions to the equipment reliability problems.
- Establishes and monitors programs for critical equipment analysis and condition monitoring.
- Leads team to handle and find solutions to chronic problems of the equipment.
- Assists in new installation design and any design changes within the facility.
- Identifies reliability improvement opportunities and implement them effectively.
- Monitors worldwide reliability and maintenance best practices concepts, techniques and tools.
- Prepare specifications and provide technical recommendations for procurement of major equipment.
- Liaison with Lead Engineers, Maintenance Engineers and site maintenance
personnel on technical aspects related to the specifications of new machinery during ordering stage as per plant requirements.
